Understanding the Concept of Santa Claus

In many homes, a piece of coal in a stocking will represent a child being bad during the year. The child recieves gifts as usual, but the added coal in the stocking is a symbol that Santa knows that they have been bad. For with children, the myth needs to carry on so they will have a goal all year long to behave. One of their first committed responsibilities as with the ones here:

  1. Using judgement:
  2. Asking themselves if they have been bad or good.
  3. Writing Skills:
  4. Writing letters, making a wish list.
  5. Thoughtful:
  6. Leaving cookies and milk on the stand for Santa.
  7. Establishing Roots:
  8. Being around family and friends.
  9. Patience:
  10. Waiting for Christmas morning to arrive
  11. Disappointment:
  12. Not always getting what they want.

Although we stretch the truth about Santa, it is all for a good cause. For in our hearts, we know that during a childs adolecent years, there is a Santa in their life and if they have been good all year, rewards will come.
