 I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas this year
 May there be peace in your hearts and reason to give good cheer
 If you must travel, please be prepared in case fate comes tappin
 Don't want to think this holiday as the one we wish never to happen

 Roads have become difficult to travel, so many use this system
 Watch for drunk drivers, they tend to think we will miss them
 Time not changing fast enough for belligerent drunks to evolve
 If you know one who indulges, please help them find a resolve

 Drunk drivers don't mean to do any harm, it just happens that way
 When they sober up, they regret in having to ruin someone’s holiday
 No apology is ever enough if a drink took a life from a loved one
 Burden weighs heavy on their shoulders when all is said and done

 May this holiday be remembered as the time we all made a difference
 Without any minister being requested to make a special deliverance
 If a drink or two is how you wish to celebrate this special holiday
 Make a memorable one for those around you; lose the keys for a day
