Deep inside one and all we would like to take time to celebrate Christmas
Whether be a scrooge or street urchin, the spirit shall never dismiss us
Trying to divide all needs from wants could lead to chaos and frustration 
So every soul shall represent there own gratuitous way for this occasion

A child relates Christmas with Santa, presents & a family Christmas tree
A Parent will take time to figure out how they went broke mathematically 
As a child it bares no harm the reason why they get a present on this day
No proud parent will actually complain on how they went broke that way

So much emphasis is put on this holiday more than others without a doubt 
It is a wonder why there are not more parents that want to stand and shout
Many would like to depict this holiday with their own type of philosophy
As for this home, we will celebrate by rejoicing with our friends and family

Let us stop the tyranny of what stores brought forth in their eye for greed
Christmas is about rejoicing with friends and family above any other need
Time is now to correct a mistake that has been misleading since long ago
Christmas is not about putting gifts under a tree to make a business grow

Bad enough stores bring in their own reason to throw any consumer a curve
More bring religion into the equation for this December month to observe
The results are not in to why many religions depict differently this holiday
Why is it imperative to create different meanings yet all lead the same way?

There are some religions who do not like how this family wants to celebrate
But it gave no reason for them to mock at what this home wants to create
Do what always has been done when it is time to celebrate with your family
But it stays the same here with Santa, presents & a family Christmas tree
